Terms & Conditions

LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 11, 2026 · EFFECTIVE FOR ALL USERS AND CONVOYS

Welcome to Wayora. By downloading, accessing, or utilizing the Wayora mobile application, services, or website (wayoraway.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

1. Road Safety & Motorist Responsibility

Critical Safety Notice: Do NOT operate the mobile application while driving or operating a motorcycle. Always mount your phone safely, configure hands-free voice audio alerts, or pull over safely before submitting road incident reports or responding to peer SOS signals. You remain solely responsible for compliance with Indian traffic laws and the Motor Vehicles Act.

2. The 10 km Biker SOS Distress Beacon

The 10km Peer-Assist SOS Beacon is an emergency solidarity tool connecting travelers in remote corridors. By using this feature:

  • Good Samaritan Nature: Responses from neighboring travelers are voluntary community acts. Wayora facilitates real-time spatial connectivity but does not guarantee third-party arrival times or vehicle recovery.
  • Severe Medical Emergencies: For life-threatening injuries, always contact local emergency services (112 / 108 / local police) immediately alongside broadcasting to nearby convoys.
  • Misuse Prohibition: Triggering fraudulent SOS signals for jokes, non-emergencies, or commercial promotion is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate permanent hardware banning.

3. Community Hazard Reporting & Confidence Scores

Wayora relies on crowdsourced reporting to identify potholes, landslides, waterlogging, and road hazards.

  • Users must provide honest, real-time reports to the best of their knowledge.
  • Incident reports are weighted by dynamic Confidence Scores based on passing traveler confirmations.
  • Intentional false reports or spam will lead to account termination.

4. High-Altitude Expeditions & Mountain Passes

Travel in remote Himalayan passes (such as Khardung La, Spiti Valley, Rohtang Pass, Zanskar) involves inherent environmental risks including Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), extreme hypothermia, and unpredictable flash floods. Wayora provides crowdsourced safety intelligence and altitude tracking, but cannot predict unmapped geological events. Travelers must exercise prudent personal judgment and carry certified medical supplies.

5. Carpool & Highway Convoys

Wayora enables travelers sharing identical corridors to coordinate convoy rides and share actual fuel costs. Drivers and passengers must treat one another with respect and follow all safety protocols. Wayora is not a commercial taxi dispatch service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wayora and its developers disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from road obstacles, navigation detours, mechanical breakdowns, or interactions between community travelers.
