About Wayora
Wayora was created out of a singular, undeniable truth: conventional navigation apps are designed for city commuters, not for the real realities of Indian highways and extreme mountain passes.
When you ride across National Highways, ghat sections, or climb through Rohtang, Spiti, and Khardung La at 15,000+ feet, traffic delay estimates are useless. What actually matters is knowing that a massive landslide slip occurred 2 kilometers ahead, that flash waterlogging is drowning the service lane, or having the ability to summon fellow motorcyclists when your chain snaps 40 kilometers from the nearest mechanic.
Why Traditional Maps Fall Short
Big tech maps treat roads as static lines and traffic as average vehicle speeds. They don’t alert you to:
- Dangerous unmarked road cavities and axle-breaking potholes hidden in monsoon rain.
- Oil spills and overturned transport trucks parked on blind hairpin curves without hazard lights.
- Sudden mechanical breakdowns leaving solo motorcyclists stranded in freezing weather without petrol or towing.
- Hypoxia and Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) strikes at high altitudes where oxygen is scarce.
What We Built
Wayora is the connected safety nervous system for India’s highway travelers:
- Live Crowdsourced Hazard Radar: Sub-second hazard broadcasting with community confidence score upvoting to filter out false alarms.
- 10 km Peer-Assist Biker SOS: Instant distress beacons broadcast to all active riders within a 10 km corridor, fostering roadside brotherhood.
- Synchronized Convoys: Group carpooling and coordinated motorcycle pack rides with encrypted telemetry chat.
- High-Altitude AMS Shield: GPS altitude elevation curves linked with emergency portable oxygen can locators.
A Community of Guardians
Wayora is free for all travelers. We believe road safety is a fundamental right, not a paid luxury. Whether you are driving a family road trip on NH-44 or summiting Himalayan trails on an adventure motorcycle, Wayora keeps you protected.
